Like, that was perfect. Best pony, great jokes, great visual design, great moral, 11/10.

WARNING!!! The following contains SPOILERS for the latest MLP episode “Rock Solid Friendship.”
Well, that was an episode. :B
...Or was Pinkie at her absolute worst this episode?
I've found her tolerable for six years, and I believe this is the very first time my mentality was "Can you just go the fuck away?" towards a Mane 6 character.
The most rockin' pony ever returns.
Argh. This ridiculous Canada gambit has me completely flummoxed for how to approach the season, review-wise, nevermind making it considerably less fun to watch. :| So just, fucking, I don't know. I forgot to do this yesterday, have both episodes, who cares. D:
Maud. Don't ever change.
Seriously, I now have a newfound respect for Maud as a character after watching this episode! Apparently her interest in rocks goes a bit deeper than any canyon in Equestria... possibly. Also, I did not expect Starlight would be in this episode, let alone play an important role in it. Their interactions were surprisingly more interesting than I expected.
Sorry this entry came in late! It’s just as well as I’m not finished transcribing my next fic, anyway. Ugh, time juggling is hard! But moving on from my whining, here’s my thoughts on another three episodes of season 7.
Rock Solid Friendship- Sometimes I wonder what Maude’s micro expressions look to Pinkie. Maybe all these years of reading Maude helps Pinkie understand Gummy.
Another sweet bit of character interaction and bonding. Seems like this season will focus on relationships for a while, at least. Nothing much to say for this one, although I enjoyed it very much.
Since her introduction in season 4, Maud Pie has made at least one appearance in every season, and every single one of those appearances is stronger than the last. By season 6's "The Gift of the Maud Pie," the writers had grown comfortable with subtly suggesting her emotions, and here, they've gone a step further and fleshed out her flaws and anxieties. She is rapidly becoming one of the absolute best characters in the entire show because of this, which makes it all the more disappointing that
I don't really think it's much of a spoiler, but I'll put it under a break in case for those who haven't seen the movie yet.
Warning: Spoilers from the latest episode, Rock Solid Friendship, abound. Proceed with caution.
Oyi! As if I couldn't think Pinkie was any more on CRACK than ever. I had to take my head phones of when she went "EEEEEEEEEE!!" on the train!
Not to mention this is like "A Friend indeed" all over again, Pinkie is so unbearably annoying (Despite her good intentions) I could almost use a headache pill. she really needs to learn.
(Not too spoilery and not just this week’s MLP episode ;)
(spoilery bits are whited out, so mouse over any suspiciously blank areas if you want those tidbits)
Maud and Starlight being friends?! There's no part of that sentence I don't like!
This week, we look at a relationship that’s part of Pinkie’s personal bedrock… and the fault line running right through it.
Grading Scale:
A (fantastic episode)
A- (an excellent episode with at least one flaw)
B+ (a great episode with a couple of flaws)
B (a good episode which still could have been better)
So I've finally gotten off my rear and started properly catching up with the show. Let's see what we've got from the third and fourth episodes of Season 7!
Maud's full name is Maudalina Daisy Pie.
The urban definition of a 'Madalina' is this:
Madalinas are usually beautiful females who have a lot of sex-appeal and are physically perfect. In history, they were queens and were admired by everyone. This type of females also have a big butt and attract men with their sexy curves.
Nowadays, they are still considered leaders of beauty so they have to face a lot of envy from other people.
